About the Camp
Set along the beautiful shores of the Northumberland Strait in Nova Scotia, Tim Horton Children’s Camp gives youth an unforgettable Maritime adventure.
Every summer, campers spend their days sea kayaking across sparkling waters, swimming, playing beach volleyball, exploring nature trails, rock climbing, and trying their hand at archery. They also enjoy arts and crafts, wide-open fields for games and friendships, and the special experience of overnight campsites under the stars—creating memories that last long after summer ends.

About the Program
The Tims Classrooms program serves youth aged 9–11 in grades 5 and 6, delivering hands-on, skill building activities in a familiar, engaging environment. This no-cost program meets students where they are and helps them become confident, collaborative, and resilient team players and leaders. Each day concludes with reflection, giving youth the chance to absorb what they’ve learned and apply it to their everyday lives.
This program helps youth develop the following values and skills: problem solving, positive communication, positive contribution, peer connection, perseverance, and teamwork.
The Tims Classrooms Program is currently operating in the following communities in Nova Scotia: Advocate Harbour, Amherst, Central Onslow, Dartmouth, Debert, Dutch Settlement, Glace Bay, Halifax, Hubbards, Malagash, Mount Uniacke, New Glasgow, New Minas, Newport, North River, Northport, Oxford, Pictou, Shubenacadie, Stellarton, Sutherland's River, Truro, Valley, and Westville.

Gifts made through Give the Gift of Tims Camps support our mission to empower youth from low-income communities through our Summer Camp and In-Community programs.
